Article Marketing Automation is an article distribution service which makes use of “spinning” in order to avoid duplicate content issues. It used by internet marketers such as myself for building up links to our websites (and other landing pages such as those on web 2.0 sites) so that they will rank higher in the search engine results.
How does it work? Well sometimes the best way to explain something is with an example.
Imagine that you have a website which is focused on dogs and you have a “landing page” on your domain which reviews a variety of dog training books. Let’s say that the keyword phrase that you want your page to rank for is “Dog Training Books.” So of course you put that phrase in your page (and in your page’s title) and then you get to work building links to your site using that phrase.
Why do you want to build links? Well I’m assuming you know the basics of how the search engines work so I don’t to go into details on that. But suffice to say that the search engines think that links back to your website are very important in letting them know which pages are important. The more links to your site the more important your site must be (and the higher your site will rank in the search engines.)
You can build links back to your page about dog training books by logging into Article Marketing Automation submission and writing a 300 word article on the subject (or a related subject) which includes up to three different links. You can “spin” your article that when it “goes out” it will be different on each website it goes into (this is to avoid “duplicate content.”) You can also spin your links so you can actually link out to as many websites as you want with one article (of course each site will get fewer links if you’re spreading them more thin.)
Article Marketing Automation will send your article out to many websites related to your topic (dogs) and each of them will link back to your site on dog training books. This will help your site rank better for that phrase which in turn could help you to make more money (through the ads and/or affiliate links that are on your page.)
